The JKA S.A. Karate Union team of Shane Dorfman, Clem Dos Santos and Michael Kliment became the JKA World Team Kumite Champions, beating Japan in the semi-finals and Germany in the final.

The JKA S.A. Karate Union team of Evelyn Lehoko, Megan Ffoulkes-Morris and Helen Elliott became the JKA World Team Kumite Champions, beating Switzerland in the final.
The JKA S.A. Karate Union team of Shane Dorfman, Michael Roetz and Tyrone Theodorides took 4th place.
The JKA S.A. Karate Union team of Lisa Greenspan, Tatiana Lagesse and Candice Rabinowitz took 2nd place behind Germany.
Shane Dorfman of the JKA S.A. Karate Union took 3rd place, after losing closely to H. Pfander of Germany, the eventual champion, in the semi-finals. H. Pfander, at that point in time, was the current W.K.F. World Cup Heavyweight Champion.
Shane Dorfman of the JKA S.A. Karate Union , took 2nd place for the second successive JKA World Championship, behind T. Yamaguchi of Japan.
Evelyn Lehoko, of the JKA S.A. Karate Union took the title , beating J. Koutava of Greece in the finals.

Lisa Greenspan of the JKA S.A. KarateUnion took 3rd place behind K. Hayashi of Japan and. S. Mansouri of Germany.
Jarrid Rosen of the JKA S.A. Karate Union took the title for the second successive JKA World Championship.
Saville Dorfman of the JKA S.A. Karate Union took the title, improving on his 2nd place in the previous JKA World Championship.
Saville Dorfman took the title, once again improving on his 2nd place in the previous JKA World Championship, to become JKA Youth Grand Champion (winner of both kata and kumite titles).

Wilna-Mari Coetzee of the JKA S.A. Karate Union took the title, beating team mate Nadia Kemp in the final.
Candice Rabinowitz of the JKA S.A. Karate Union took the title , beating team mates Gabrielle Najjar and Tatiana Lagesse into 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
In total the JKA S.A. Karate Union took 18 medals in the youth sections.
