- Special world championship held in Gifu, Japan (August 1999) to celebrate the Millennium.
JKA Millenium World Kata Champion under 16 (Gifu, Japan) (FIFTH WORLD INDIVIDUAL JUNIOR CHAMPION TITLE (1993 to 1999)
- 2000:
- Saville again won the official South African Cadet (under 18) title on 26 February, and has been awarded his official junior Protea colours for the 5th time to represent South Africa at the African Cadet Championships in Johannesburg in July.
- He was a finalist for South African Maccabi Junior Sportsman of the Year.
- Saville also became KWF South African Junior Grand Champion, winner of both the Kumite and Kata titles, on Saturday 4 March at the Wembley Stadium.
- Saville in his first senior national championship took 3rd place and was selected for the official Senior Protea National team to represent South Africa at the Africa Zone 6 Championship in May. At the age of 15 years,this makes him the youngest ever Protea or Springbok in the history of karate.
- At the Africa Zone 6 Championship, Saville and his 2 team mates took the 3-man team kata event title and gold medal for South Africa.
- Saville represented South Africa at the KWF 2000 Karate World Championships in Cardiff, Wales in July 2000, where he won 3 gold medals and 2 silver medals.
